Little Gerbils

This piece was inspired by a special moment of my childhood. Every Christmas afternoon, my family, and my cousin's family would all go over my Grandparent's house for Christmas dinner. On one particular 1998 Christmas, my grandma gifted us a Gameboy Color and one game. It was a pretty exciting day, also because she gifted Pokemon Red and Blue to 2 of us. And that of course started my obsession with Pokemon. There was a lot of screaming that day. As well as a lot of us huddling around a lamp, watching Pokemon on the gameboy screen.
